This is Picture number 2 of the last privately owned cabin on Woodman lake. The photo was taken just by chance less than one week before the cabin would be torn down and the land added to the rest of the park.

This is Picture number 1 of the last privately owned cabin on Woodman Lake. The picture was taken from a canoe on the lake side. This cabin had a beautiful hand laid stone wall with its own concrete dock and loading ramp.

This is a photo of Kiara. A sixteen year old yellow lab that made the 2 mile round trip to
Woodman Lake from Woodman at least 4 or 5 mornings every week to take a short swim
At her favorite swimming hole. After her passing in 2011 her morning trips have been taken over by Duramax (a 7 year old beagle) & Lydia (a 4 year old chocolate lab.)

The Dinky Railroad by Floyd Hazen
This is the most extensive resource we have found about the Dinky. The book is full
of interesting facts and stories that are well worth reading. The book is available
for viewing at the Boscobel Public Library and the soon to open Dinky General Store

Woodman Depot 1914
This is a picture of one of the two depots in Woodman in 1914. This is the Depot for
the broad gauge that ran from Prairie du Chien to Woodman and then on east.
The narrow gauge depot (The Dinky depot) is located just to the right in this picture
south of the tracks.

area as the old train would have approached the Wisconsin River just 2 miles west of
Woodman.
